80 abstracts have been accepted and published in the Abstract Book.

We welcome abstracts about coagulation factors, hemophilias, von Willebrand factor and disease, gene therapy, rare bleeding disorders, ADAMTS-13, hemolytic-uremic syndrome and other thrombotic microangiopathies. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by a Scientific Committee. The best abstracts will be selected as oral communications. There will be also a poster display session and all contributions will be published in an abstract book.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts may be submitted in English only electronically through the website starting from January 2014.
  • Abstract submission deadline is 30th May 2014.
  • All presenting authors must be registered for the Conference.
  • Submitted abstracts must be structured into: Background/Aims, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  • When submitting your abstract, you may upload in the system also one Table or Figure.
  • Figures should be submitted as .jpg files with a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch).
  • The length of the abstract must not exceed 300 words.
  • The title must not exceed 200 characters (including spaces) or approximately 20 words.
  • Please, include the names of each author in the order you would like to see them published. Specify all authors’ full names and affiliations and avoid including degree acronyms (i.e., BS, MS, PhD, etc) or credentials (CSCS, etc). Affiliations should be in English and must include Department, Institute, Town, Country. Example: John Smith, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Milan, Milan, Italy.
  • Abstracts can be edited or deleted until you are ready to submit them. Once they are submitted, no further changes will be possible.
